Let x be the number increased in fraction 3/4 i.e.,(3+x)/(4+x)----->1

Given 5/6 be decreased by same number i.e., (5-x)/(6-x)-------->2

Also given the result will be the same i.e., 1 and 2 are equal

Hence (3+x)/(4+x)=(5-x)/(6-x) from this we get x=1
