let a/b be the original fraction.
So ,

New fraction = 56a/49b

=> 56a/49b = 6/7

=> a/b =42/56

then fraction=x/y
(x+12x/100)/(y-2y/100)=6/7
solving
we get x/y=21/28
fraction=21/28
