if the numerator of a fraction is increased by 250% and denominator is increased by 400% the resultant fraction is 7/19 what is the original fraction

Let the Fraction be x/y. Then, Numerator is increased by 250% and denominator by 400%. So it becomes = (x+2.5x)/(y+4y). 3.5x/5y = 7/19.
