According to question.

$\frac{x + 1}{y } = \frac{3}{4} \\ \\ 4(x + 1) = 3y \\ \\ 4x + 4 = 3y \\ \\ 4x - 3y = - 4............(1) \\ \\ \\ \frac{x}{y + 2} = \frac{1}{2} \\ \\ 2x = y + 2 \\ \\ 2x - y = 2..........(2)$

from (1) and (3)
