Step-by-step explanation:

let the fraction be = n/d

n increased by 10% = n(1+10%) = n*(1+0.1) =1.1n

d increased by 20% = d(1+20%) = d*(1+0.2) = 1.2d

1.1n 1

___ = __

1.2d 3

n 1 1.2 4

_ = __ × __ = __

d 3 1.1 11

denominator is more than numerator by 7

so the fraction is 4/11
