Explanation:

A concave lens is a lens that consists of at least one inverter service and spreads the light rays out refracting through it.

The focal length of a concave lens is a distance  from the length to its Focal Point.

The focal length of diverging lenses  like the concave lens is always negative.

Thus, it is given in the question the distance(u) is 30 cm and the focal length (f) is 15 cm.

therefore, the image distance (v) is

1/v-1/u=1/f

there fore 1/v= -1/15-1/30

1/v= -2 -1 /30 = -3/30=-1/10cm

or v= -10cm.

The image distance(v)  is -10 CM from the concave lens.

Thus, the image that will be formed is virtual, erect and gets diminished  in size.
