If the object is moving with uniform velocity in a given interval of time, then the average speed and instantaneous velocity are equal, why?

the average velocity and instantaneous velocity are equal at every point because there is no acceleration( body is moving with constant velocity) ... but you are talking about a given time interval .still the answer will be "yes". lets understand this with an example:- If your average velocity between t=0 and t=2 is 5 m/s, then at some point in that time period, your instantaneous velocity will be 5 m/s.
