SOLUTION

GIVEN

The opposite angles of a parallelogram are (3x-3°) and (6x-69°)

TO DETERMINE

All the angles of the parallelogram

CONCEPT TO BE IMPLEMENTED

  • The opposite angles of a parallelogram are equal

  • Sum of any two adjacent angles is 180°

EVALUATION

Here it is given that opposite angles of a parallelogram are (3x-3°) and (6x-69°)

We know that the opposite angles of a parallelogram are equal

(3x-3°) = (6x-69°)

⇒3x = 66°

⇒x = 22°

So the two opposite are each of 63°

Again we know that Sum of any two adjacent angles is 180°

So each of the remaining two angles

= 180° - 63°

= 117°

Hence all the sides of the parallelogram are

63° , 117° , 63° , 117°
