Given,

Ordered pairs are (3a + 4b,5a - 3b) and (29,0)

find values of a and b .

SOLUTION :-

from the question,

3a + 4b = 29 \:  \:  \:  \:  -  -  - (1)

5a  - 3b = 0

 =  >  \: 5a = 3b

 =  >  \:  \: a =  \frac{3b}{5}  \:  \:  \:  -  -  - (2)

substituting eq(2) in eq(1), we get

\rm⇢ \: \: (3 \times  \frac{3b}{5})  + 4b = 29

\rm⇢ \: \: 29b = 29 \times 5

\rm⇢ \: \: b = 5

then, from eq(2),

\rm⇢ \: \: a =  \frac{3 \times 5}{5}

\rm⇢ \: \: a = 3

Final Answer :-

value of a is 3 and,

value of b is 5 .
