Cell injury will happen.. These r of 2 types- reversible cell injury and irreversible cell injury.
Cell injury is a very vast topic.
To brief it up, physical nd chemical substances cause cell injury. Eg- chemical like benzene, mercury. Physical agents like- excess heat, any road accidents.
Also, the cell organelles get disturbed. Like on cell membrane, blebs appear which are hydropic swelling. The nucleus undergoes disintegraton. Ribosomes separate from each other.
