Answer

x+2y=8

And 2x+4y=16

These given equations are in the form:

a  1  x+b  1  y+c 1 =0 and

a  2  x+b2 y+c 2  =0

Where

a  1  =1,b  1 =2 and c  1  =8

a 2 =2,b 2 =4 and c 2  =16

a  1/a  2  = 1 /2  , b  1/ b 2

 = 2 /4

 = 1 /2

System has infinitely many solutions.
