Let Ist parallel side be x, IInd parallel side be y and height be h.

x = 20 cm

y = 10 cm

and,

h = 13 cm

Area of Trapezium = {( x + y )/2} × h

                               = {( 20 + 10 )/2} × 13

                               = {30/2} × 13

                               = 15 × 13

                               = 195 cm²

Answer:

since, area of trapezium = 1/2 × (sum of parallel sides ) × height

Step-by-step explanation:

area = 1/2 × (20+10 ) × h

by pythagoras theorem

height = 12

= 1/2 × 30 ×12

= 180

therefore, the area of required trapezium is 180
