So,

B=5 cm

H=2 cm

5X2=10 cm^2

x + x = 10

=> 2x = 10

=> x = 5

Step 3 :

Use formula for area of a parallelogram and substitute base = 5 cm and height = 2 cm

Area = base * height

=> Area = 5 * 2

=> Area = 10 cm²
