Since perimeter of a semi-circle is pie*r +2r

So...r(pie+2)
r(22/7+2)=36
r(5.14)=36
r=36/5.14

=7 cm

Therefore diameter will be 14 cm....

According to the question,

perimeter of semicircular protector = 36 cm

=> πr + 2r = 36

=> (π + 2)r = 36

=> (22/7 + 2)r = 36

=> (22 + 14/7)r = 36

=> (36/7)r = 36

=> r = 36×7/36

=> r = 7

So, radius of protector = 7 cm

Therefore,
Diameter of protector = 2×7
= 14 cm
