if the perimeter and diagonal of a rectangle are 14 and 5cm,find its area

Now we have (b-3) (b-4), so we will take 3 and 4 out there,
Now we have two dimensions 3 and 4, and we know that length is always bigger than width so here length is 4 cm and breadth is 3 cm.
Now, area will be length x breadth ===== = 3x4 = 12 sq. cm

I am trying to solve this question for about one and half hour, and now I have got to this answer....I hope this answer will help you.... : )
