 \bold{ \underline{ \: Perimeter  \:  \: of \:  \:  square =4 \times side }} \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  - ( \: 1 \: )

 \bold{ \underline{Area  \:  \: of  \:  \:  \: square = side \times side}} \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  - ( \: 2 \: )

Given, Perimeter of square = Area of square

From ( i ) & ( ii ) ,

4 × side = side × side

 \bold{ \frac{4 \times  \cancel{side}}{ \cancel{side}} = side }

4 = side

Hence, side of square will be 4 units.

Area and the perimeter is equal

area = s²

perimeter = 4s

4s = s²

4s = s × s

4s / s = s

4 = s

side = 4
