We know that,
Perimeter of circle = 2πr.
Perimeter of square = 4s.
2πr = 4s
r:s = 4/2π = 2/π .
Ratio of their areas
= πr² : s²
= π (r/s)²
= π ( 2/π) (2/π )
= 4/π
= 4*7/22
= 28/22 .
The ratio of their areas = 28 : 22 .
