Given Perimeter of circle is equal to perimeter of square

i.e

2πr = 4a

=> a = (2πr)/4

=> a = πr/2

Area of circle ,a1 = πr^{2}

Area of square, a2 = a^{2}

then , their ratio:

a1/a2 = πr^{2}/ a^{2}

=>  πr^{2} /  (πr/2)^{2}

=>  4πr^{2}/ π^2 r^{2}

=> 4/ π

Therefore the ratio of a1/a2 = 4/π

or a1:a2 = 4:π
