We know,

Perimeter of parallelogram is 2 times the sum of both the adjacent sides.

∴ Perimeter of Parallelogram = 2(l + b)

Let's assume the other side as x meters

Given »

Perimeter of field = 160 meters

One side of field = 50 meters

According to Question,

Perimeter of Field = 160 meters

2(50 + x) = 160

⇒ 50 + x = 160 / 2

⇒ 50 + x = 80

⇒ x = 80 - 50

⇒ x = 30

Hence, the other side of the field is 30 meters.
