Given,

Distance between the parallel sides = 7m

Area of Parallelogram = 210m²

Let the length of one of the parallel side be 'X' m.

Area of parallelogram = base x height

⇒210 =  X x 7

⇒x = 210/7 = 30m

⇒The length of the parallel side = 30m

We know,

In parallelogram opposite sides are equal.

Let the length of one of the adjacent sides be y m.

∴ Perimeter of parallelogram = 2(30 +y)m

But perimeter is given = 140m

∴2(30+y)m = 140

⇒ 30+y = 140/2=70

∴y = 70-40m

=> the length of adjacent sides are 30m and 40m
