if the perimeter of a parallelogram is 52 cm, and the measure of the longer side is 20 cm, what is the measure of one of the shorter side?

Perimeter = 2(l + b)

=> 52 = 2(20 + b)

=> 52/2 = 20 + b

=> 26 = 20 + b

=> 26 - 20 = b

=> 6 = b

.°. b = 6cm
