the sum of all sides is perimeter and here perimeter is given i.e.36 CM

then 10+8+6+x =36

24+x =36

x=36-24

x=8cm

the fourth side is 8cm

Given :

The perimeter of the quadrilateral is 36 cm.

The length of the 3 sides is 10cm and 8 cm and 6cm respectively.

To Find

the fourth side of the quadrilateral

Solution:

Let the quadrilateral ba ABCD, AB= 8cm, BC= 10cm, AD= ?

Perimeter of quadrilateral ABCD= Sum of all the sides

                                            36cm = AB + BC+ CD+ DA

                                            36cm = 8+ 10+ 6+ DA

                                            36cm = 24+ DA

                                            8cm = DA

Therefore, the fourth side DA of the quadrilateral is 8 cm.
