Perimeter of rectangular park = 160 m

Length = 50 m

Let breadth = x

Perimeter of rectangle

= 2 ( l+b )

= 2 ( 50+x )

= 100+2x

Therefore,

160 = 100+2x

160-100 = 2x

60 = 2x

60/2 = x

x = 30m

Breadth of rectangular park is 30m

Perimeter = 160m
Length = 50m
Perimeter of rect. = 2(l+b)
= (50+50)m = 100 m
= (160 – 100)m= 60 m
60/2 = 30m
Breadth = 30m
