If the perimeter of a rectangle is 100cm and breadth is 20cm, find it's area.

Answer:

Perimeter of rectangle = 2( length + breadth )

100cm = 2( length + 20cm)

100/2 = length +20cm

50cm = length + 20cm

50cm -20 cm = length

30cm = length

Area of a rectangle = length × breadth

= 30cm × 20cm

= 600cm square
