Perimeter of the rectangle = 130 cm.

Breadth of the rectangle = 30 cm.

Area of the rectangle = ?

Perimeter of rectangle = 2 ( length + breadth )

130 = 2 ( length + 30 )

130/ 2 = length + 30

( transposing 2 to LHS )

65 = Length + 30.

Length = (65 - 30)cm.

Length = 35 cm.

Now,

Area of rectangle = length × breadth

= (35 × 30) cm^2.

= 1050 cm^2.

Hence ,the area of the rectangle is 1050 cm^2.
