If the perimeter of a rectangle is 16a + 8b – 6c and one of its sides is 5a + 3b - 4c, find theother side.

SOLUTION:

Let Length = 5a +3b-4c

Perimeter=2(Length + Breadth)

Substituting the values

16a+8b-6c=2(5a+3b-4c+ Breadth)

16a+8b-6c= 10a+6b -8c+2*Breadth

6a+2b+2c=2*Breadth

Breadth=3a+b+c

Other side of triangle is= 3a+b +c
