Answer:

2009 m^2

Step-by-step explanation:

Perimeter = 180 m

(perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b))

=> 2(l+b) = 180 ________(i)

as difference between l and b is 8

or l - b = 8

or l = 8 + b

put the value of l in equation (i)

=> 2(8+b + b) = 180

=> 2 (8 + 2b) =180

=> 8 + 2b = 180/2

=> 2b = 90-8

=> b = 82/2

=> b = 41

as l = 8 + b

or l = 8 + 41

or l = 49

therefore area of rectangle = l×b

or

41 × 49

or 2009 m^2
