By given question -

2 (l+b) = 20

L+b = 10

If we take the midpoint of 10

It is 5

5 + 5 = 10

5×5=25 which will be the maximum area

Hope i tried much level

Hope it helps us in any way

We know that perimeter of a rectangle can be found out by 2(L + B).

According to the question the perimeter given is 20 m. That means the sum of length and breadth can be 10m and not more than that.

2(L+B) = 20m.

(L+B) = 10m.

That is possible by 9 different combinations:

L=1 and B=9 and Area = 9

L=2 and B=8 and Area = 16

L=3 and B=7 and Area = 21

L=4 and B=6 and Area = 24

L=5 and B=5 and Area = 25

L=6 and B=4 and Area = 24

L=7 and B=3 and Area = 21

L=8 and B=2 and Area = 16

L=9 and B=1 and Area = 9

Therefore, the maximum area possible is 25m². [Ans]
