if the perimeter of a rectangle is 60 cm and it's wide 10 cm find its length

perimeter of a rectangle. = 2(length + width)
60cm = 2(length + 10)
60 cm = 2length + 20
60-20 = 40 = 2length
40/2 cm = length
20 cm = length (ans)

Formula of the perimeter of rectangle
>2(l+b)
There for its length =60=2(10+l)
>60=20+2l

>60-20=2l

>40=2l

Therefor the length =40/2
