72 = [2+(22/7)]r = {36/7]r, or

r = 72*7/36 = 14 m

The area of the semicircular park = A = (pi/2)*r^2

= (22/14)*14^2

= 308 sq m

The radius of the semicircular is 14 m and its area is 308 sq m.
