If the perimeter of a semi-circular park is 72 m, find its area and radius. ​

Perimeter

 = \pi r + 2r = 72cm \\  \\  = r( \frac{22}{7} + 2) = 72 \\  \\  = r( \frac{22 + 14}{7} ) = 72 \\  \\  = r \times  \frac{36}{7} = 72 \\  \\  = r = 14cm \\  \\

Area

 =   \frac{ { \pi r}^{2} }{2} =  \frac{22}{7} \times  \frac{14 \times 14}{2}    \\  \\  = 22 \times 14 \\  \\  =  {308m}^{2}

C = 2πR

72 = 2*22*R/7

36*7/22=R

R = 11.5 (APPROX)

AREA = πR²

AREA = 22*11.5*11.5/7

AREA = 415.7 (APPROX)
