Heya !

_____

______________________________________________________

→Given that :

=> Perimeter of semi circular park = 72 m

★Now , we know that the term perimeter implies the boundary i,e basically the Circumference of the semi circle .

★Also , in a semi circle , the perimeter will include half the boundary + the diameter .

This means ,

Perimeter of semi circle = ½ × 2πr + diameter

=> πr + 2r ( diameter = 2 × radius )

=> r ( π + 2 ) = 72

=> r ( 22/7 + 2 ) = 72

=> r ( 36/7 ) = 72

=> r = 14 m ✔

-------------------

Now , area of semi circle = ½ × πr²

=> ½ × 22/7 × 14 × 14

=> 308 m²

★Hence radius of the semi circular park is 14m and area is 308m²

Answer :-

  • The area of circle is 308.

Step-by-step explanation :

To Find :-

  • The area of circle

Solution :-

Given that,

  • The perimeter of a semi-circular park = 72m

First we need to find out the radius of the semi-circular park. And we can find it out by applying the formula of " perimeter of semi-circle ".

Assumption: Let us assume the radius of semi-circle as r,

As we know that,

Perimeter of semi-circle = r ( π + 2 ),

=> r ( π + 2 ) = 72

=> r ( 22/7 + 2 ) = 72

=> r ( 36/7 ) = 72

=> r × 36/7 = 72

=> r = 72 × 7/36

=> r = 2 × 7

=> r = 14

  • The radius of circle is 14m.

Now, the area of semi-circular park, As we know that,

Area of semi-circle = 1/2 × π × (r)²,

Where,

  • π = 22/7
  • r = Radius

=> Area = 1/2 × π × (r)²

=> 1/2 × 22/7 × ( 14 )²

=> 1/2 × 22/7 × 14 × 14

=> 1 × 11/7 × 14 × 14

=> 1 × 11 × 14 × 2

=> 11 × 14 × 2

=> 11 × 28

=> 308

Hence,

  • The area of circle is 308m².
