Perimeter of semicircle =22/7xR
According to question
22/7xR=54 cm
R= 54x7/22
R=17.18
For our ease take it as 17 cm.
Now are of semicircle is=22/7xR^2/2
So area = 22/7x(17^2)/2
=22x289x2/2
=12716/7
=1816.57
Hence the area of the semicircle is 1816.57 cm^2
