IF the perimeter of a semicircular protractor is 36 cm, find it's diameter.

use the formulae

in case is semicircle....
perimeter = π*Radius or r + Diameter or d
also diameter is 2 * r
so.....
36. = π r. + 2 r
36. = 22r/7 + 2r
36. = 22r + 14r
36. = 36r
36/36 = r
so..... r = 1 cm
so diameter = 2r. = 2*1 = 2 cm....
