If the perimeter of a semicircular protractor is 66cm, find the diameter of the protractor.

Diameter=42cm

Given,perimeter of semicircle=66cm

Perimeter/Circumference of a circle=2πr

therefore, of a semicircle= 2πr × 1/2

=πr

thus,

πr=66

22/7 × r =66

r= 66 ×7/22

r= 21cm

therefore diameter =2r

=2× 21

=42cm
