Answer:

perimeter of square = 24 cm

side of square. = 24÷4

= 6 cm

Area of the square= side×side

= 6×6

=. 36 cm

Using Formula:-

Perimeter of square = 4×side

and area of square =side²or side ×side

Solution:-

Firstly we find out the side of square.

Then we find out the area of square.

Perimeter of square=4×side

24cm = 4 \times side \\ side =  \frac{24cm}{4 }  \\side = 6cm \\

Now using formula area of square=side×side

= 6×6

=36cm²

Hence the area of the square is 36cm².
