Question :-

Find area of a square whose perimeter is 24 cm.

Solution :-

Let sides of square be (a)

we know that perimeter of square = 4a

24 = 4a

a =  \frac{24}{4}

a = 6 Centimetres

Now,

Area of Square :- (Side) ^ 2

= (4) ^ 2

= 36 Cm ^ 2

Here Area of Square is 36 Cm ^ 2
