Let each side of square be x.

Then, it's perimeter =4x

but it is given 50cm.

So,

Atq, 4x =50

or x =50/4cm

Therefore x =12.5cm

Answer =12.5cm

Perimeter of a square= 4*side
Perimeter of the square = 50 cm

=>4*side = 50cm
=>side = 50/4
=>side = 12.5cm

therefore,side of the square is 12.5cm
