If the perimeter of a trapezium is 52 cm, it’s non parallel sides are equal to 10 cm each and its altitude is 8 cm, find the area of the trapezium

Answer:

Perimeter=52cm.

Non parallel sides=10cm each.

Parallel sides= perimeter- sum of non parallel sides.

Parallel sides= 32 cm.

Area=1/2 (sum of || sides) ×h

=1/2( 32) × 8

=32(4)

=128 cm²
