if the perimeter of a triangle is given by 3x-y+6 and two of it's side are given by 4x-9 and 12y-x+8 , then find it's third side

Answer:

perimeter of∆=1st side of a ∆+2nd side of a ∆+3rd side of a ∆

3x-y+6=4x-9+12y-x+8+z

3x-y+6=(3x+12y-1)+z

z=(3x-y+6)-(3x+12y-1)

z=3x-3x-y-12y+6+1

z=(7-13y)
