Answer:

Given: Perimeter of an equilateral triangle is 180 cm

We know that perimeter of an equilateral triangle = 3* side

So,we will find the side of this triangle

Perimeter= 3 X side

180=3 X side

Side =180/3

Side = 60

Now the area of a equilateral triangle is

A= (√3/4)(side)^2

A=(√3/4)(60)^2

A=(√3/4)(3600)

A=(√3)900 or 900√3

A=(1.7320)900. ( The value of √3 is 1.7320)

A=1558.85 cm^2.
