Given ,

The perimeter of an equilateral triangle is 60 cm . So , each side = (60÷3) cm

=20 cm

We know , area of an equilateral triangle

= √3(each side)(each side)/4 sq. unit

Area of the triangle = (√3 × 20×20)÷4 sq. cm

=√3×20×5 sq. cm

=100√3 sq. cm
