if the perimeter of an isosceles triangle is 64 cm and its equal sides are 20 CM then find the area of an isosceles triangle​

64-40=x

x=24

Perimeter = x + x + y

64 = 40 + y

y = 24 cm

where x is the equal side and y is non equal one.

area = 1/2 * base * height

height nikalni oadegi pythagoras theorem se -_-

therefore height = 16 cm

area = 1/2 * 24* 16

= 12*16 ==>192cm²
