If perimeter is 32 and perimeter of a square is 4a. ( All sides are equal)
hence a= 32/4= 8cm.
therefore a=8cm.
Tsa of a cube= 6a2 ( 2 is in the superscript)
=384cm2

Answer:

The lateral surface area of the cube is 256 square centimeter.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : If the perimeter of each face of a cube is 32 cm.

To find : Its lateral surface area?

Solution :

We have given the perimeter of the cube is 32 cm.

We know that,

Perimeter of a cube is

P=4\times s

Where, s is the side

32=4\times s

s=\frac{32}{4}=8

So, The side of the cube is 8 cm.

The lateral surface area of the cube is

LSA=4s^2

LSA=4(8)^2

LSA=4\times 64

LSA=256cm^2

Therefore, The lateral surface area of the cube is 256 square centimeter.
