if the perimeter of one face of a cube is 20cm . find its volume.​

  • Perimeter of one face of cube = 4a

where,

→ Formula of volume of cube :-

  • Volume of cube = side³

Solution :

Firstly, we will find the side of the cube by using the formula of perimeter of one face of cube.

⠀⠀⠀⇒ Perimeter = 4a

⠀⠀⠀⇒ 20 = 4a

⠀⠀⠀⇒ 20/4 = a

⠀⠀⠀⇒ 5 = a

Side of the cube = 5 cm

Now, we will find the volume of the cube by using its formula.

⠀⠀⠀⇒ Volume = side³

⠀⠀⠀⇒ Volume = (5)³

⠀⠀⠀⇒ Volume = 125

Volume of the cube = 125 cm³
