hi mate here is ur answer

the perimeter of the rectangular field is = 200m

length be x

breadth = 40m

the perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b)

so, 2(x+40) =200

2x+ 80 = 200

2x = 200 -80

2x = 120

x = 120/2

x = 60

length is 60

hope it helps!!!

Perimeter of a rectangle=

2(l+b) where b is given 40

And perimeter is given 200

2(l+40)=200

l+40=100

Length=100-40=60m
