this is the example for it is for 25%

Suppose length of sq is “x”

Then its area is x2

Now increase is side by 25%

Therefore x + x of 25% = 5x/4

And it's area = 25x2/16

Increase in area x^2 - 25x^2/16 = 9x^2/16

Percentage in area increase = 56.25%
