perimeter of square = 4a

circumference of circle= 2pie r

A/Q,

2pie r = 4a

so r = 2a / pie

area of square = a2

area of circle = pie r2

= pie (2a/pie)2

= 4a2 / pie

Ratio = a2 / 4a2/pie

= a2× pie / 4a2

= pie / 4

= 22/7 /4

= 22/28

= 11/14

= 11:14
