if the perimeter of the rectangle 38 cm and the length is 12 cm the find the breadth of the rectangle?

Perimeter = 2(l+b) Let the breadth of the rectangle be x. Then , a/q Perimeter = 2(12cm +x) But the perimeter is 38 cm So , 38 cm = 2(12cm+x) 38 cm =24 cm+ 2x 2x=38cm-24cm 2x=14cm  x=14cm÷2 x=7cm Thus, the breadth of the rectangle is 7 cm
