If the perimeter of the rectangle is 124cm. Its length is 4x-5 cm and breadth is 2x-5 cm find the area

We know perimeter of a rectangle= 2( length+ breadth)
But it is given that perimeter of the rectangle= 124 cm
As per condition,
2[(4x-5)+(2x-5)]=124
=> 2[6x-10]= 124
=>6x- 10= 62
=> 6x= 72
=> x=12
So, length= 4x-5= 43 cm and breadth= 2x-5= 21 cm
Therefore, are of the rectangle= length× breadth= 43×21= 903 cm sq.
